Hi, I’m Kara.

 

Before moving into the grant writing and funding world, I worked in public schools and was then a Montessori educator for nearly a decade. My training to become a Montessori guide involved studying a curriculum that emphasizes the notion that globally we are deeply connected as human beings, and that how we treat each other and our earth, matters. I am passionate about imparting this sentiment in my work with nonprofits and in my interactions with all people. I am committed to just, equitable, and inclusive programs.  I know that diversity, equity, and inclusivity are imperative in any project or program. Through my years of work with children and families, I believe we’re all better when we work together to improve our local and global communities. 

 

I’m now making an impact for children and all learners outside of the traditional classroom. I help people with a passion for helping others get their work funded.
